Evenflo Co. Inc., in conjunction with the U.S. Product Safety Commission (CPSC), has announced a voluntary recall of more than 210,000 Evenflo Activity Centers.

The acitivity centers were recalled because when used as an activity table (Stage 3), the cap on one end of the product can loosen and fall off, posing a fall hazard to small children.

To date, the company has received 11 reports of dislodged end caps that have resulted in nine minor injuries, including bumps and bruises. In Canada the company also received one report of a dislodged end cap that resulted in a child suffering a broken collarbone.

Included in the recall are Evenflo ExerSaucer Triple Fun stationary activity centers - model number 6231711.

The agency advises consumers to immediately cease using the recalled play units in Stage 3 and to contact the company for a free replacement end cap.

Consumer Contact: For additional information, contact Evenflo at (800) 233-5921 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday or visit the firm’s Web site at www.exersaucertriplefun.com
