Everlasting Distributors Inc. issued a nationwide recall of its 3.88 oz packages of Fresh and Crispy Jacobina Biscuits because they may be contaminated with Melamine.

Consumers with any recalled product are advised to stop using it immediately. Questions about possible health risks should be directed to your medical doctor.

The recalled products were distributed nationwide in Asian Grocery stores.

The product is available in 3.88 oz (110 gm) blue and red clear plastic packages, labeled “JACOBINA.”

To date, the company has not received any reports of illness.

The recall was announced after FDA testing found that the product possibly contained Melamine. Consumers who have purchased the product are urged to return it to the point of purchase to receive a full refund.

Consumer Contact: For questions, contact the company directly at (201) 823-0800, Monday to Friday 9:00 to 5:00, Eastern Standard Time.
