Dayton Officer Injured In Bus, Car Collision

DAYTON, Ohio -- Police in Dayton said an officer was injured when his cruiser collided with a car and a school bus.

The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Keowee and Monument Streets.

The driver of the car said the officer ran a red light. The officers and the bus driver were taken to a local hospital.

Investigators said none of the children on the bus were injured.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
